Resetting the Canterbury Tales - Stage 1

  1. The three images that illustrate the setting are images 2, 4, and 10. They show a group of people in a setting that allows interaction. The photos illustrate the diversity of the group and show how they are affected by the environment. The photographic elements that help the presentation are wide photos that have a clear distinction between the foreground and background and the people and the setting. A short description of the photos would make them easier to understand in the context of this project.

  2. The 3 images I think best depict the setting are the one showing the outside of the school and its name, all the students sitting around and in the background someone is taking a picture of two girls, and the picture of the three girls studying.
The details in the pictures are that they help illustrate the school being a common place for students to hang out, relax, and share experiences.
The elements of the composition that help convey the mood of the setting are the close up of the students studying and in the picture of all the students standing around, the picture is far back and really helps the viewer get a sense of the environment and atmosphere int he room.
The images do not need to be modified in my opinion but a picture of the name of the school with students in front of it would be better.
Additional information that could be added would be maybe the voices of lots students talking, for example a loud room with everyone talking at once.
