Resetting the Canterbury Tales - Stage 2

  1. No the revised draft of the slideshow does not respond to the feedback of the initial draft because you did not pick 3 of the pictures that were suggested in the feedback.

The audio track is so perfect for the idea of the school being the common meeting place. It definitely helps to further understand the thesis of the composition with the children singing and it goes along great!

The elements that do a good job are that the song incorporates the voices of the children and it is upbeat and happy music and the song even mentions something about high school. No elements need to be added to the track at all.

The only additional information needed would be picking the 3 pictures that go along with the song and the idea of the Canterbury Tales.

  2. I definitely think that you should try to focus on three of the pictures. I really like all of them, because they all convey what your theme is. But maybe focus on three that show the place, show the diversity of the people, and maybe another that further solidifies the place of your choosing.

I really like the audio track! That is so perfect for your theme. Its not just the song itself, but the fact that it sounds like young people are singing it, almost as if it is the people in your pictures. It is a happy, upbeat track that goes well with the expressions of the people in the photographs.

I think you have done a really good job incorporating the music and the theme of the project, but I would recommend narrowing the pictures down to three, for sure.

Otherwise, it looks like you are doing a great job and you really have a sound idea in your head of what you would like to accomplish with this project!

  3. The music fit the photos and your theme well. It shows atmosphere that you were trying to portray. It matches the photos and highlights the social rather than the institutional elements of the images.

The images are effective, but could be narrowed down. They do a good job and work with the music, but could probably work just as well if they were fewer in number and chosen to complement each other.

The project looks good and combines music with audio in an original way, but still needs to have the photos chosen.
